Church of God Clinic (Essienimpong)
MISSION AND VISION
The Church of God Clinic (Essienimpong) mission is to show holistic care and passion of Jesus Christ through quality health care. "God Heals, We Treat".
The vision is to promote the healing ministry of Jesus Christ for the benefit and welfare to the people in our catchment area in fulfilling of Christ's mandate to go and heal the sick.
BACKGROUND
The clinic was established in 1972 by a missionary couple Selwyn and Muriel Arnold. It started as a Health Care Center in the community in a very small house. There was therefore the need to expand it to a standard that can meet the health needs of the community. This prompted the then Chief of the community to donate huge plots of land to the church which was used in establishing this present facility. The church with the help of communal labor was able to construct some structures that are used to serve the health needs of the people of the community, Series of improvements and structures were added over the years. The clinic subsequently became a member of the Christian Health Association of Ghana and has since remained in good standing with the association. This has granted the facility the opportunity to enjoy government monument to its professional staff. Presently the facility is seated in 40 acres of land and serves about 10 communities in the Municipal Assembly.
